The Hermitage Hotel is looking for a seasoned Project Manager to oversee wide-ranging, long-term capital projects including multi-year new builds and refurbishments at the Hermitage Hotel and Airport.
Additionally, this role will also drive the asset management plan for existing assets.
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in the future of an iconic and historic landmark in one of New Zealand's most spectacular and precious environments.
In this role, you will be responsible for: New build & refurbishment projects, from concept to completion.
Project management deliverables including documentation, tracking, cost management, communication, change & risk management.
The asset management plan, including all maintenance requirements and compliance obligations.
Stakeholder management including with the owner Trojan Holdings Ltd, 3rd party contractors, suppliers, consultants, the Department of Conservation, and Consenting Authorities.
What you will bring to the role: Demonstrable project management experience in capital projects, with proven planning capability, and use of current software applications.
A deep understanding of asset management and implementing best practices.
Excellent engagement skills, enabling you to lead teams and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Commercial understanding and excellent budget management.
A high attention to detail, quality control, and standard setting.
A track record of health and safety, ensuring site safety.
Heritage/remote build experience is an advantage.
The role and benefits: Full time and permanent position, based in Aoraki/Mount Cook, or Twizel, or Tekapo.
Competitive salary range, $130-$150k depending on experience.
