Your new role As the Project Manager you will be working alongside a stable team leading and managing projects from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget and to the client's satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing the site teams, ensuring they have the support which is required to deliver successful projects. Managing financial, contractual and commercial issues Develop the construction methodology and programme Assist Site Managers in subcontractor and consultant management, reviewing and preparing incoming and outgoing contract/costing correspondence Mentor and provide guidance to project-based staff Monitor project schedules, variations and scope changes Maintain strong relationships with major suppliers, subcontractors, customers and clients Ensure Compliance with relevant project / contract documentation Compliance with the company's ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards What you need to succeed Minimum of 5 years working as a Project Manager on commercial projects in NZ/AUS Have been responsible of the full construction cycle of running projects Proven planning and program management experience Strong negotiation skills Finance and budgeting skills Excellent leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills Advocate of Health and Safety A professional and sound work ethic and technical leadership skills A Full Class 1 NZ Drivers License What you get in return You will be joining a business that offers integrity, commitment, innovation, comradeship and wellbeing.
