Role:
You are responsible for the management of the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects to ensure the long-term success and profitability of their business.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of projects by leading the project team and subcontractors.
Manage and direct contract administration, understanding contractual requirements and expectations.
Documentation, scheduling, and progress reporting.
Full cost management including budgeting, cost control, and forecasting.
Stakeholder engagement and working closely with the client.
Implement effective risk management strategies and ensure all safety, environment, and quality processes are followed up for the job.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience in the NZ Civil Construction industry.
BE or NZCE or significant industry experience.
Project experience in transport, roading infrastructure, connections with local authority.
Experience managing teams and subcontractors with strong leadership skills.
Proficient in project management software.
Safety-related certification.
Benefits:
Salary $140,000+ (depending on level of experience).
