Position Overview:
We are looking for experienced Construction Project Managers with a proven track record in managing large commercial building projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to project management. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of complex projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Budget Management: Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
Quality Assurance: Oversee all construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies, providing regular updates and addressing any issues that arise.
Problem-Solving: Proactively identify and resolve potential project issues, risks, and conflicts.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects.
Education: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related field.
Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Knowledge: Deep understanding of construction processes, contracts, and local building regulations in New Zealand.
