Project Manager

Our client is a trusted expert in essential services and sustainable projects, constructing renewable energy farms across the globe.

This is the first of many exciting projects here in New Zealand and the biggest renewable energy project NZ to date.

We are looking for a natural leader and experienced project engineer to take this project by the horns and join an experienced and hard working team.

Responsibilities:

Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring engineering tasks.
Performing calculations, writing specifications, preparing bids, reviewing equipment proposals.
Evaluating or selecting equipment and preparing various lists and overviews.
Collaborating with and ensuring effective communications.
Reviewing engineering deliverables and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
Preparing specifications and Bills Of Quantities for purchase orders, contracts and other documentation.
Providing assistance with the maintenance of critical equipment registers and scheduling routine servicing and calibration.
Preparing reports, letters, briefing materials, and more, using MS Office.
Actively participating in all training programs and emergency response exercises initiated by the company.
Ensuring knowledge is kept current with any required refresher or other training.
Coordinating the different stakeholders related to the engineering and design disciplines.

What you will need:

Class 1 full driver's license.
Bachelor's degree in engineering.
4+ years experience in Project Management with Renewable energy construction.
Confident using Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Eligibility to work in NZ.
Experience with AutoCAD.
This position may require you to relocate for various projects.
A comprehensive knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
