We have two 12-month fixed-term positions available and are looking for highly skilled and motivated Project Managers to join our Capital Projects team. In this role, you will act as a client-side project manager, overseeing the delivery of physical works projects related to our venues. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality – all in a live environment as the show must go on.
Key responsibilities of this role include: Manage the optioneering, planning, execution, and delivery of physical works projects from inception through to completionCoordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and consultants to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with organisational goalsOwn the development and maintenance of project schedules and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to timelines and financial parametersEnsure compliance with all pertinent regulations and standardsProduce and deliver project reports to senior managementHe korero mou: About you
You will likely have experience in similar roles from within large and complex and potentially political organisations. We will be looking for specific experience with the key role requirements provided below:
Bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related fieldProven experience in managing construction or infrastructure projectsStrong understanding of project management methodologies and toolsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPMP or similar certification is desirableIn addition, you'll be joining a team of dedicated and respected experts working collaboratively across the region to contribute to Auckland's growth and development.
