We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, with values ranging from a few hundred thousand dollars up to around $10 million.Our client base includes the following sectors: commercial, residential, retirement, schools/Ministry of Education, amongst others. The variety of work on offer provides a unique opportunity for anyone up for the challenge.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of NZS 3910 contracts. They will also have a sound technical understanding of New Zealand construction practices and related legislation. We are seeking an individual who can demonstrate initiative and drive, coupled with a personable approach, to ensure the successful delivery of projects and excellent customer service to our clients.You will be involved in some or all of the following:Feasibility workDesign coordination and planningEnsuring all resource and building consents are obtainedProject planning and programmingBudgeting and cost managementHealth and safety managementManaging a project team through design and construction deliveryWhat you will bring to the team:Great communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience with Microsoft Project software would be an advantageGood computer skills, proficient with MS Office applicationsStrong relationships with a portfolio of existing clients would be advantageousMOE experience is desirable but not essential5+ years' New Zealand experience in a similar roleRelevant tertiary degree/diploma or other similar qualificationIdeally you would hold PMI Project Management Professional Certification, or similar.About UsWe are a leading property and construction consultancy providing professional services to a wide variety of clients.
