The Role:
The Project Manager plays a key part within the branch structure at Aotea Security. Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of projects and management of resources to deliver the projects. Being able to hold mature and proactive conversations with our people and customers is critical to your success. Your keen eye will accurately estimate costs, equipment and labour – the ultimate test being your ability to lead delivery on security installations which are on budget, and on time. You will have a solid understanding of building requirements and security standards, and turn key delivery of electronic security systems.
Key Qualities:
Big-vision thinking on project implementation and design – you can estimate costs consistently to an accurate level and understand the practical 'how-to' of delivering on your design.
Experience in programming concepts and commissioning security installations.
High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Suite applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook and Visio.
A great customer-based personality – you engage easily with key stakeholders to build long-lasting business relationships.
Ability to lead and organise technicians on projects – you inspire, motivate and communicate with technical staff on work expectations and the 'how-to' of implementation.
Fantastic English communication skills whether this be over the phone, in person or in writing.
A drive, desire and will to be successful and support success as a team, branch and business.
