Project Manager - Hvac

Our client is a market leading HVAC and Mechanical services provider with expertise in design, installation, commissioning, service and maintenance.Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join their Dunedin Team.The RoleA key part of the role will be leading large-scale HVAC projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects have been completed on time and on budget. This will be achieved by allocating adequate resources and ensuring all materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed in advance for scheduled jobs.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage project schedules, ensuring the efficient allocation of resources, materials, and labour.Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring that the work is conducted in accordance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards.Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress and compliance with safety and quality regulations.Ensure all projects are completed within budget while maintaining high-quality and safety standards.Lead and motivate the project team, including technicians, subcontractors, and other personnel.Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing regular updates, addressing any concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that all work meets the required standards and complies with New Zealand's building codes and environmental regulations.Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.Ensure that all site activities adhere to health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and enforcing safety protocols.Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5+ years' experience in project management, specifically within the HVAC industry.Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and budgets.Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, industry codes, and relevant New Zealand regulations.Proven track record of successfully managing complex HVAC projects from start to finish.Relevant certifications in HVAC or Project Management.Strong leadership skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality work.If you have the required qualifications and experience, and you are ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, please submit your CV through or call me on 021868395 for a confidential chat.Please click Apply Now to apply for this role or to register your interest.
