We have an outstanding opportunity to join the Asset Management team in the exciting and rewarding role of Project Manager based at our Invercargill Office.
You will be a self-starter who is customer-focused, well-organised, and commercially astute.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing electrical distribution projects throughout the project lifecycle from initiation, contract inception, through planning, design, estimation, work pack generation to allow field teams to execute works, commissioning, and closure. You will be accountable for the commercial success of your projects from inception to project closeout.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills
Hold a relevant electrical or engineering qualification.
At least three (3) years' experience within the electricity distribution industry, with experience in project/contract planning or management and maintenance scheduling.
Ability to prioritise workload with sound planning and organisational skills.
A collaborative mindset and ability to work as part of a wide team to deliver projects.
Keeping up to date with relevant standards and regulatory requirements of the electricity industry.
Ability to ensure work is accurately scoped, planned, and delivered.
Electrical design, simulation, and drafting, ideally in the distribution sector.
Understanding of Quality Assurance and document control processes.
Methodical around standardisation of processes.
Excellent communicator, articulated, confident, and comfortable presenting detailed information in layman's terms to customers.
