We're a locally owned and growing company based in New Plymouth servicing the Taranaki, Eastern Bay of Plenty, Manawatu, and Hawkes Bay regions. Our high calibre team of professionals specialise in residential and commercial metal long-run roofing and wall cladding, building, and project management.

Qualifications & Experience A bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, business, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
Highly experienced and competent at working in an office environment with the mental capacity to endure it.
Strong knowledge of construction and roofing methodologies, building and roofing codes, safety regulations.
Excellent project management skills, including effective planning, organising and prioritising tasks.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including project blueprints and construction schematics.
Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams and stakeholders.
Knowledge of risk management and budget management principles.
Experience in managing large-scale construction/ roofing projects.
Experience with contracts negotiations and claims management.
Must be highly competent in using technology, especially a computer and a mobile phone.
Must know how to use computer software and programmes, especially Outlook (emails), Word, Excel, OneDrive using Outlook and other Microsoft office products such as Word and Excel.
Must know how to use Xero or similar systems.
Proficiency in project computer management software, project scheduling tools and cost estimation software such as XERO, Aconex, Procore.

Tasks & Responsibilities Planning, coordinating and managing all phases of construction projects, including project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and closeout.
Establishing project objectives, scope and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and ensuring alignment with client requirements.
Developing and managing project schedules, budgets and resource allocations to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Liaising with architects, engineers, contractors and subcontractors to monitor construction progress, resolve issues and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Managing procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations and vendor selection.
Oversee project budgeting and cost control and manage change orders to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Conducting regular site inspections to assess project progress, identify risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and legal requirements, prioritising a safe working environment for all involved.
Maintain effective communication with project team members and stakeholders to provide updates, address concerns and foster strong working relationships.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on project status to stakeholders. Carry out thorough project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective measures.
Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
