Key responsibilities include: All aspects of project delivery across a variety of projects within a Programme of Works, with particular focus on civil engineering projects and developing business casesPlan projects in accordance with best project management practice including the development of bespoke project lifecycles, detailed project charters and business casesProject Management - Safe design and execution of Mercury generation projects with strong commercial acumen, delivering long-term value to Mercury.Stakeholder Management - Managing the relationships between customers, project teams, contractors, Iwi Partners and external stakeholders to meet overall Mercury objectives.
Setting up and managing key contracts and contractor relationships.
We are looking for:Project management for the delivery of civil engineering projects (developing business cases, external stakeholder engagement and carrying forward endorsed option to implementation)Strong stakeholder management - experience collaborating with councils and Iwi is an advantageBachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field (preferred)A cross functional and critical thinker who challenges the norm and takes ownership to proactively manage risks and drives commercial valueStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
