We Go Beyond for A Safer World Te Turanga - The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager (24 month fixed term) to join our team at Tait, specifically within the RAN Design Team.
This role is crucial in supporting our engineering staff as they work on designing and delivering the Public Safety Network (PSN) project across New Zealand.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, coordination, and management of design tasks within the distributed RAN design team.
You will report directly to the Engineering Manager for the PSN project.
The duties of the role will include: Oversee the RAN design process and workflows.
Monitor the impact of changes on quality and schedule, ensuring the project team is aware of potential impacts.
Manage multiple stakeholders, assisting in triaging and prioritizing design tasks according to the design programme.
Develop a project Work Breakdown Structure that includes milestones and tasks related to project deliverables, considering cost, scope, and quality constraints.
Ensure effective customer communication at every stage of project deployment to establish customer satisfaction, providing a positive reference for project management and Tait.
O pukenga - About You To be successful in this role, you will have 2+ years' experience in project management within an infrastructure or technical design environment.
