The Properties tima (team) within operational excellence business unit holds a critical turanga in our business. It is responsible for the execution and delivery of our overarching property proposition and strategy, to ensure we achieve strategic outcomes aligned with a world class colleague and customer experience.

This is an Auckland based hybrid turanga working three days in the office, anchor days being Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. We sat down with one of our GM of Properties and they let us know the following bout the turanga:
What are the day-to-day tasks the person will complete? Assisting project lead and Programme Delivery Manager in creating Statement of works and PIR's for suppliers in Coupa & TPRM.Assisting with internal stakeholder engagement.Assisting with on-site contractor coordination and project 5-year points of presence administration tasks including monthly PIC pack coordination.Setting up monthly meetings for WIP for project stream and any other project related tasks required in the delivery of projects.What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity? You will hit the ground running and ako from the experienced project delivery team here at BNZ. There is the opportunity to shape the turanga to make it your own, and work on projects nationwide with a wide range of suppliers.
What technical skills are REQUIRED for this turanga? The candidate will need a recent Bachelor of Construction or Property as well as some hands on experience. If not formally qualified, at least five years in a Construction administration or project coordination tima.
What will success look like for the candidate in this turanga? Becoming a fundamental part of the successful delivery tima, delivering the 5-year points of presence transformation plan on-time and within budget to an exceptional standard.
What attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this turanga? The candidate will need to be highly motivated, assertive and a self-starter. You will need to be organised, have good people skills and will need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment with delivery focus.
