As a Project Leader you will provide operational input into the smooth running of electoral events General Elections, by-elections and national referenda.Your role is vital in enabling the Commission to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient electoral events that meet national standards. You will contribute to the Electoral Commission's vision of a healthy democracy by contributing to the long term strategic direction of the Commission. This is a Grade 15 role with a salary band of $75,377 - $83,752 Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the continuous improvement of services to voters by designing and implementing solutions that are fit for purpose. Undertake and contribute to projects and tasks from concept through to completion Identify issues and help determine business needs and requirements. Design, develop, test and implement solutions, ensuring all statutory and administrative requirements are considered. Support and monitor the delivery of voting services to New Zealanders. You are collaborative, culturally aware, and can easily build relationships with stakeholders at all levels. To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in leading either whole or major components of small/medium scale operational delivery projects, preferably within the public sector Demonstrated ability to identify and articulate issues or opportunities, and design appropriate solutions Experience in developing and implementing practical business solutions Demonstrated communication and liaison skills with proven ability in relationship management Experience in using, and a demonstrated understanding of, recognised business tools, processes and systems.
