We are currently seeking Project Engineers / Advanced Project Engineers in the field of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) to join our Honeywell Building Automation team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your focus will be leading the engineering delivery of assigned PLC projects / scope within your remit. Key Responsibilities: PLC scoping, systems engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning and documentationIdentification of customer needs on-site and translating these into workable solutionsConfiguring software, bench testing, FAT, and delivering commissioning packagesProvision of technical direction and support of project team members, including planning / scheduling and quality assuranceDelivery of project engineering requirements within budget, scope, and schedule Controlling risk and briefing management on these risksSales Assistance and the provision of project estimates Key Experience & Capabilities: A degree or considerable experience in an electrical, electronic, or mechatronic engineering field or tradeExpertise in PLC engineering (hardware and software)A solid understanding of PLC applications, including Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram (FBD) and Structured Text (ST/STX) programmingSolid understanding of architecture and interfaces between PLC's and SCADA or HMI systemsCommunication protocol standards like for example Modbus, BACnet and LonWorks High exposure to one or more PLC brands (e.g., Honeywell, Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens, ABB etc.) Experience in in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems is regarded as an add on bonus About Us The world is changing.
