You will be working for a well-respected NZ contractor with offices and projects around the South Island. Your new role
This will be a diverse and interesting role based in Invercargill. You will need to be living in the region or willing to relocate. You will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, from pricing and bidding for work, to monitoring and providing guidance to foremen on site. You will have a keen eye for detail and complete QA throughout the project to ensure a quality job. Projects range from 3 waters, roading, land development, structures, water and waste water treatment. This role will involve being out on site and involved in day to day QA. Managing from the office is not an option.
What you'll need to succee d
A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or relevant experience in the civil construction field
Two years of relevant experience in the New Zealand construction industry is a must
A desire and hunger to learn and develop
The ability to fit in to a tight-knit team and be versatile
Great communication skills - you will need to be comfortable talking to stakeholders on site
