Project Engineer

Australasia Moulding Ltd is a manufacturing and distribution business in Kerikeri, Northland. We deliver plastic manhole chamber solutions to a growing New Zealand infrastructure market segment. The ideal candidate will be smart, motivated, flexible, able to think through a task and come up with good solutions, and demonstrate their ability to learn quickly. Good communication skills will go a long way, as will an eye for quality.As our business is small, there is a wide variety of day-to-day tasks to complete. No week will look the same as the last, and we will be relying on you to adapt and progress your abilities as you develop your career with AML.Core Responsibilities:Taking projects through the design and quotation stage all the way to delivery and customer support.Working alongside the Managing Director and Fabricator to deliver high-quality solutions.Developing and growing the business.Our expectation would be that the candidate would have an engineering degree or engineering diploma qualification. On-job experience and training will be provided, so a graduate-level candidate would be ideal.Being a small business, we will need you to easily switch between office or site-based tasks when the requirement comes up. Some travel may be required to aid on-site customer support. Proficient computer operating skills are a must.
