As such, we have an opportunity for a Project Engineer to join the Higgins Team in Tauranga.
You will be joining a team of experienced Project Managers and Supervisors working on large scale civil construction projects across the Bay of Plenty region.

What You'll Bring To The Role
3 + years' experience as an Engineer on civils and roading projects
Prior project experience overseeing roading, earthworks and pavement construction
Major project experience is preferred but not essential.
A tertiary qualification in Engineering (NZDCE or BEng Civils or similar)
A strong focus on cost control and Quality outcomes.
Understanding of the Construction Contracts Act and the knowledge to apply NZS3910 is desirable
Experience managing project resources including materials and teams/crews is favourable.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders and clients.
