We are currently seeking a Project Engineer in the field of BMS to join our Honeywell Building Automation team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, your focus will be leading the engineering delivery of assigned projects within your remit. This is a full-time permanent role, with 40 hours per week and salary range of $100,000 to $110,000 per annum. Key Responsibilities: Electronic BMS systems engineering, implementation, integration, commissioning and documentationAdhere to the high standards of Health and Safety management requirementsPossess a comprehensive understanding of high-end Building Services applicationsAssessment of customer site for installation requirements and installation designUndertake all site engineering and commissioning on assigned projectsContribute to the management of customer relationships and developing sponsors for HoneywellManage risks and communicate these to management on a regular basisReport to management on project progress and relevant issues on a regular basisDeploy standard methodologies in the delivery and control of site engineering workPrepare submittals per engineering standards, ensuring schedule dates are metPlanning / scheduling of project executionSoftware development perform 'bench testing' as required and deliver commissioning package to fieldBuilding Services systems design, implementation, and documentationProvide technical input to project team membersUse Quality Assurance procedures and ensure defect-free hardware and software gets implemented on siteAssist with checkout of systems on-site alongside project managementAssist with the Co-ordination of the commissioning team during the commissioning phases of the project and participate personally in the onsite commissioningProvide Technical Support to field techniciansAppropriate security clearance requiredAccess to correctional centres requiredImplement Honeywell's environmental policies and procedures, minimise resource waste, and actively participate in initiatives that reduce environmental impact Key Experience & Capabilities: An engineering degree or considerable trade experience minimum 5 years' within an Electrical, Electronic, Mechanic or Mechatronics fieldBMS / HVAC engineering experience - with an electrical, mechanical or mechatronics backgroundExpertise in electronic BMS systems (hardware and software); andA solid understanding of high-end BMS applicationsAdditional skills relating to Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), PLC systems and lighting control are considered favourable Who We Are The Future Is What We Make It at Honeywell.
