How you will do it:Oversee project and on-site service activities within the marine and offshore business, ensuring adherence to plans, timelines, and quality standards.Collaborate with supervisors to plan and schedule tasks effectively, monitoring progress and adjusting schedules as needed.Utilize SAP for procurement processes and cost tracking, ensuring accurate budgeting and cost control.Maintain detailed records of project progress, tasks, and health, regularly updating supervisors on status.Conduct comprehensive quality control checks on budgets, schedules, and plans, reporting any issues to the Service Operations Manager.Identify potential project risks and propose resolutions to ensure project and service success.Foster effective communication with stakeholders, facilitating clear and timely communication.Participate in site meetings as necessary to stay informed and address project or service requirements.Assist in regular quality audits for suppliers and subcontractors, implementing corrective actions as needed.Manage subcontractors involved in projects/services, ensuring adherence to requirements and timelines.Support the Branch in identifying and pursuing variation order opportunities.Participate in activities related to new business quotations and proposals.Ensure compliance with engineering codes, standards, and company QA/QC systems, with a particular emphasis on the unique challenges and regulations governing marine and offshore operations.What we look for:Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Marine with 1 year suggested minimum experience.Basic knowledge/exposure in thermodynamics and experience in HVAC&R/Fire or related industry is an added advantage.Good interpersonal skills.Willingness to learn new things.Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.
