We are currently seeking a highly organised, motivated and innovative Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of maintenance and refurbishment projects on petroleum tanks, hydro penstocks and bridges in the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Eastern North Island.
This role reports to the Area Manager Central North Island and will work closely with operational employees and engineering teams.We Offer:A permanent full-time positionA competitive salaryUp to 4% KiwiSaver contributionHealthcare insurance policy schemeHigh performing teamA safe working environmentThe Role:You will be responsible for assisting the Manager with the delivery of refurbishment projects of petroleum tanks, hydro penstocks and bridges:Managing site personnelAchieving commercial project deliverables on time and within budgetRelationship ManagementCost EstimationProgrammingCost tracking and forecastingProject AdministrationEnsuring full compliance with HSEQ requirementsRequirements:Applicants must currently be eligible to work in NZ.A bachelor's degree or equivalent vocational experience in civil, mechanical or similar engineering.5 years of project experience for a contractor or work within a similar industry.A full unrestricted New Zealand driver's license.Project administration experience.Cost estimating experience in the maintenance or construction sectors.Scheduling with MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred.Excellent literacy and numeracy skills are required.Experience in the maintenance and construction of steel structures and industrial coatings is highly desirable.Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces.Knowledge and experience in quality controls.About Us:SRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
