Project Director - Manawatu-Whanganui, New Zealand - New Zealand GovernmentProject Director Role SummaryLead the delivery of major capital works projects as prioritised through the Infrastructure and Investment Plan.About the Team/Service/LocationThe Infrastructure and Investment Group (IIG) provides safe, fit for purpose health facilities, sites and equipment.About You:Experienced Project Director with experience in delivering large commercial infrastructure projects.Seasoned Project Director with experience at senior management level, excelling in leading large and complex programs.Demonstrated expertise in establishing robust processes for identifying, managing, and monitoring complex risks.Strong political acumen and financial management skills.Knowledge and application of appropriate project management frameworks, and an ability to promote and provide advice on the use of appropriate techniques, methodologies and tools.Significant experience in strategic communications and synthesising complex information into key messages for relevant audiences.Political nuance with an understanding of how issues play out and what is important to key stakeholders and the Government of the day.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives giving effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches in healthcare settings.
