About the Role: You will proactively oversee all phases of construction from contractor engagement to completion, ensuring all project goals are met. Develop and implement construction plans, schedules and budgets to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Lead and support a high-performing project management team, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment. Monitor and report on project progress, proactively managing issues and addressing delays promptly. Assist with the evaluation of potential property acquisitions and development feasibilities. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental and regulatory requirements. About you: You will have a passion for the industry, and enthusiasm for building strong relationships with stakeholders, from customers and suppliers to directors and the local community. You will have:
A minimum of 10 years' proven experience, ideally in construction project management, civil engineering or similar, working across a range of sites including commercial / industrial and residential. A relevant tertiary level qualification in construction management, quantity surveying or a related field. Experience in procurement and tender management processes. Proficiency with construction management software. Knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations. A commitment to safety and quality in all aspects of construction. Strong leadership and project management skills. A collaborative and engaging working style. Demonstrable commercial acumen. Experience working effectively with external agencies, and stakeholders.
