Location: Auckland (Airport)

Salary: $180,000 - $190,000 + Company Vehicle

This leading Tier 1 contractor is known for delivering large-scale infrastructure projects. The company is poised to undertake significant construction works at an airport, a key transport hub in New Zealand.

Project Overview:

The organization is seeking an experienced Project Director/Manager to lead a $30 million construction project focused on taxiway construction and upgrades, including new pavements. This presents a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high-profile project expected to commence in April/May.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and maintenance of the highest quality standards.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including airport authorities and contractors, to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.Oversee project planning, resource allocation, risk management, and overall project execution.Coordinate with the Superintendent and other project team members to drive performance and resolve any issues that arise.Prepare and present project reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring transparency and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.Foster a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and industry regulations.Qualifications: Proven experience in a Project Director/Manager role, preferably in airport construction or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.Strong knowledge of construction processes, contract management, and project delivery methodologies.Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex stakeholder relationships.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, construction management, or a related field.Why Join Us?
