Position: Project Design Engineer – MechanicalAutomac Engineering is looking for a Project Design Engineer – Mechanical, with a practical approach to design. The ideal applicant would have:
A minimum of 5 -10 years 3D Design & Detailing experience (Preferably Solidworks)An understanding of control systems (electrical, PLC, servo)Experience in the design of machinery parts and systemsExperience in the food and packaging industries (preferred)Sound mechanical engineering knowledgeAbility to work within a tightly-knit teamThe successful applicant would be responsible for:
Design and detailing of automated machinery and conveyor projectsLiaising with Electrical Engineers and programmers to deliver machinery and projectsLiaising with customers, suppliers and the project team in developing design solutionsProject management/supervision of the construction of new projectsThe ability to communicate with the manufacturing workshop to ensure the product(s) meet specification and quality requirements is critical in this roleAutomac Engineering is offering a competitive remuneration package for the right candidate.
