It's an exciting time to join us as we lead change across the public service to implement social investment and support Government to achieve better outcomes from social sector spending.
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join the Office of the Chief Executive team to assist delivery of our work programme. This role is to provide cover while a member of our team is on secondment.
We are seeking someone who enjoys variety and operates with a 'can do' attitude. You will be working in a changing environment, so we value the ability to manage competing priorities, build and maintain relationships and to be flexible. This is a great opportunity for a driven and proactive project coordinator to demonstrate their project skills, working on multiple pieces of work and projects.
You will proactively provide a range of project and administrative services including:
Project planning activities - helping to ensure our projects are appropriately managed, and deliver quality products, on time and within budget.
Administrative support for projects and working with the wider administration team to support the leadership team and agency.
Support to the Senior Ministerial Advisor.
You'll be an experienced Project Coordinator or Administrator, and amongst other things you'll have:
Strong self-management skills with an attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal, relationship management and presentation skills.
Knowledge and understanding of the New Zealand public sector.
Experience with scheduling, meeting minutes, reporting and coordinating meetings.

The salary range for this role is $59,534 to $84,048. Starting salaries reflect skills and experience relevant to the role with offers generally made between $59,534 to $70,040.

The role is Wellington based. Given the requirements of the role you'll be working in our friendly office most of the time.
