Contribute to the success of high-profile projects that make a real difference to New Zealand Flexible working, a mix of wfh and in the office with your team Wellington based, Permanent role The opportunity | Te Whiwhinga mahi Work is well underway for a programme of works to improve safety and resilience of the Otaki to north of Levin transport corridor as well as planning to increase transport choice for the area's growing population.
We are working together with local iwi and partners to create a positive legacy for the region while we build a new, safer, efficient, and more reliable State Highway 1 from Otaki to north of Levin.
We are now seeking a polished Project Coordinator to support the Project Director - National System Design to successfully deliver our Otaki to north of Levin project (O2NL) to time, cost, and quality parameters.
You will be an integral member of the project team, displaying strong collaborative skills and contributing to both our team's success and the future goals of NZTA-Waka Kotahi.
This role will provide project support to our team who engage with and work in partnership with project stakeholders.
This will include attending meetings, record keeping, and reporting along with supporting the team in the delivery of initiatives, as a part of a varied and dynamic programme.

We're keen to meet with Project Coordinators who bring: Proven experience working as a project administrator Proven experience in effectively engaging with internal and external stakeholders An understanding of project management methodologies and frameworks An understanding of risk management and assurance controls and associated project and programme reporting and quality standards and project lifecycle processes Experience in helping establish and facilitate effective Governance committees to ensure well-formed decisions are made in a timely fashion Experience in reviewing key documentation and working with teams to deliver quality outputs Experience with project management information systems (preferably with Planview) desirable Exceptional organisational skills, including multitasking, time-management, and strong ability to prioritise and manage workloads Exceptional verbal, written, presentation, facilitation, financial management, and report writing skills Qualifications A recognized project management professional qualification i.e.
