The OpportunityReporting to the Senior Project Manager, you are responsible for coordinating brownfield Renewal capital works projects, including scoping, pricing, and overseeing field delivery, within the Veolia Renewals and upgrades team.This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient and effective execution of water infrastructure renewal projects.What's on offerPositive, inclusive, collaborative and innovative cultureContributing meaningfully to Veolia's Purpose of Ecological TransformationFlexible, family-friendly working arrangementsWhat you'll be responsible forCoordinate and manage capital works projects within the 3 Waters Renewals portfolioDevelop and refine project scopes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and contract specificationsPrepare accurate cost estimates and pricing for renewal projectsLiaise with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project executionOversee field delivery, monitoring progress, quality, and adherence to timelinesManage project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgetsIdentify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsContribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the teamWhat you'll need to be successfulQualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or related field)Minimum of 5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in water infrastructure or related fieldProficiency in using Google platform tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Google Cloud)Basic understanding of contract commercial terms and conditions, particularly minor works contracts is highly desirableBasic Knowledge of NZS 3910 (Conditions of Contract for Building and Civil Engineering Construction) is highly desirableExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesProficiency in project management software and Google SuiteProject management certification (e.g., PMP, PMBOK, PRINCE2) is a plusExperience working with local authorities or utility companiesFamiliarity with 3 Waters infrastructure and renewal processesKnowledge of relevant New Zealand standards and regulationsExperience with GIS systems and asset management softwareCombination of education, training and industry experience.Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to project sites as requiredYou have the ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information and consolidate a position or assessment effectively.
