The "Te Wai Takamori o Te Awa Kairangi – Delivering Riverlink" project is going to be transformative to the Hutt Valley and Wellington region and communities. We are currently in the developmental stage of searching and employing great people with passion and vision, who want to deliver great outcomes. You'll be working alongside our partners, building trust-based relationships.About the RoleThis is a senior leadership role which will work across a number of broad disciplines. Responsible for defining the project needs in accordance with requirements, while conducting project controls health checks. Aligning the project with the strategy of the contractual model and commercial strategy.Building trusted relationships both internally and externally with our stakeholders will be second nature for you, as you work to positively influence across a number of disciplines. You'll have a strong eye for detail and expert knowledge of project control tools and systems, turning metrics and analysis into meaningful insights to enable project performance.About you and your experienceYou're curious and enjoy creating and finding solutions in your chosen field. You will have the chance to make your mark and develop your skills along the way.At least 5 years of project controls experience at a senior levelExperience in the construction industryA bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fieldExceptional relationship management skills when dealing with stakeholdersExcellent time management of projectsStrong communication skills both written and verbalAbout our Major ProjectRiverLink is a transformative project about to get underway in Hutt City. We're very excited to announce that alongside AECOM, Fletcher Construction will be joining project partners The New Zealand Transport Agency (Waka Kotahi) and iwi Taranaki Whanui ki te Upoko o te Ika and Ngati Toa Rangatira to deliver this project.RiverLink includes crucial flood protection, improvements to public transport, walking and cycling routes, local roads and the SH2 Melling Interchange, as well as connecting to the Lower Hutt city centre.
