Our client, a thriving architectural practice with a growing reputation, is seeking a skilled Project Architect to lead and deliver exceptional projects across a variety of sectors. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of diverse architectural challenges in a supportive, creative, and professional environment.The RoleAs Project Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the design and delivery of projects, working closely with clients, consultants, and the internal team. Your focus will be on ensuring that each project is delivered to the highest standard, on time, and in line with the client's vision.Key Responsibilities:Oversee projects from concept through to completion, ensuring all phases meet design, compliance, and quality standardsCollaborate with clients to develop design briefs and communicate innovative solutionsCoordinate and lead project teams, including consultants, contractors, and suppliers.Prepare detailed architectural documentation for Building Consent and construction stagesMonitor construction progress, conduct site visits, and address on-site challengesEnsure compliance with local building regulations, codes, and sustainability practicesWhat You'll Bring:You will hold a MSc in Architecture or equivalentHold 10+ years of proven experience working on complex architectural projects, ideally within NZExpertise in Revit and other relevant software - ideally Enscape, SketchupExperience in commercial, residential projects, and working knowledge of remedial/weather tightnessStrong technical skills with an excellent understanding of NZ Building Code and construction processesClear and professional communication skills for engaging with clients, consultants, and team membersA proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking architectural practice that values creativity, sustainability, and professional growth.
