Project Administrator – Permanent, Full TimeWe are looking for a hands-on Project Administrator to join the NZQA Information Services Project Team.May the baskets of knowledge (education) be brought into the world of light.
We welcome one and all to join us at the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.The Project Administrator role supports the Applications Development and Delivery Manager, Programme Manager and Project Managers by providing high level administrative support and co-ordination.
The role will assist IS in the day-to-day management of projects, including:information and document managementprogramme and project administration (including maintenance of registers and logs)meeting logistics, including minute takingcommunicationprogramme and project reporting.Skills and experienceWell-developed and methodical organisational skills.Demonstrated experience in programme/project administration and support.Experience in:business processes and systems.office and administration systems and procedures, including records management.dealing with procurement processes, vendor and contractor relationship management.project reporting for steering committees and governance forums.Strong:written and document management skills – including professional presentation of documents.people skills – able to get along with others.written and oral communications skills.customer focus and interpersonal and relationship management skills – able to get along with a wide range of internal and external clients.Expertise in the use of key Microsoft applications, e.g.
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio.A positive, energetic, flexible approach and a strong results orientation.Well-developed personal time management skills and the ability to prioritise and organise tasks and activities of others to meet deadlines, peak periods and unexpected situations within available resources.Self-starter, reliable, able to anticipate and take action to minimise impact of demands on others.Ability to:prepare work plans and systems, and problem-solve.work with minimal supervision.prepare detailed work plans and systems for quality assurance monitoring.About usNZQA is a te reo Maori learning organisation and is committed to equity and lifelong learning.
