BYDH Construction Ltd is looking for one full-time Project Administrator in the construction field to perform routine tasks to the company quality standards in Wellington.
Ideal candidates must have the following: Any relevant qualification in building construction management.
Be physically fit enough to work under pressure in construction sites.
Must be able to work on weekends and work overtime.
Must be flexible to work late-night and early-morning shifts and be able to travel among multiple construction sites whenever necessary.
Strong commitment to safe work practices.
Sound time management skills.
Be hard-working, reliable, and motivated.
Able to deal with unexpected events and make decisions.
Can work well and efficiently both unsupervised and within a team.
Job Responsibilities: Review work order requests, assign and manage technician/trade schedule and maintain consent process.
Uploading work orders to the project management system and updating it on a daily basis.
Ensure projects/services are delivered on time and up to standard.
Liaising with clients, work supervisor, project manager, subcontractors and other stakeholders, maintaining good relationships and ensuring KPIs are met.
Address and resolve any issues that arise during the process promptly and effectively.
Review work order submissions and variations to ensure accuracy and upload all required documentation.
Create quotes when needed.
Advising senior management on matters requiring attention and implementing their decisions.
Coordinates and attends weekly toolbox meetings, communicates with constructor/sub-constructors regarding any updates of contracts, takes minutes and distributes minutes.
Analysing data associated with projects undertaken and reporting on project outcomes.
