The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director, this key role ensures the seamless operation of a busy office while supporting operations with proficient project coordination and administrative skills. Project costs are aligned with client quotes and expectations, accurate records for materials and labour are maintained, and compliance with health and safety regulations on site is managed.
Responsibilities: Manage and track construction costs, purchase orders, labour & materialsCoordinate sub-contractor agreements and yearly declarationsRecord timesheets for processing with an external payroll providerProvide administrative support to the management teamCollaborate with customers, builders, architects, and sub-contractors, maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycleHealth and Safety compliance, undertake on-site H&S inspections, focusing on continuous improvement to improve safer ways of workingAssist in development and maintenance of H&S procedures and workplace policiesSkills and Experience: Diploma in Construction Management (desirable), experience in the building/construction industry (essential)Proven experience in an operational or project administrative roleStrong knowledge of New Zealand health and safety legislationExcellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectivelyProficiency with Microsoft Office, InDesign (document management), Xero, Lentune (or similar construction software)Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilitiesMotivated self-starter, driven to meet deadlines and achieve goalsThe Benefits: Competitive Salary + Car Park + PhoneProfessional Development + Career ProgressionPositive, Collaborative and Inclusive CultureStarting January 2025About Us:
