Exciting opportunity for an immediate start as a Project Administrator with Christchurch City Airport. Initially a one-month contract, with the strong likelihood of extension through to the end of the year.
The Role: Unique chance to work as a Project Administrator in a fast-paced environment. Located at the Airport with free parking Monday to Friday Role will be primarily office-based with occasional site visits required. Start date: ASAP Responsibilities: Administration: Coordinate agendas for weekly project meetings and fortnightly scope meetings. Take detailed meeting minutes, capture action items, and circulate key information to stakeholders. Prepare scoping documents and provide general admin support to project team members. Set up purchase orders, process invoices, and manage new supplier onboarding with procurement/accounts. Operational: Support the Customer Service (CS) team as a key operational link between the project team and frontline staff. Facilitate and escort contractors/consultants during site visits. Coordinate terminal inductions, access cards, and temporary AVSEC IDs with CS support. Oversee contractors performing straightforward tasks on-site, such as moving furniture or planting installations. Coordinate temporary signage with marketing and assist in preparing RFQ and procurement documentation. Provide support to the project team with various project elements and discovery tasks. Previous experience in project administration or coordination (highly desirable). Ability to take meeting minutes and work through action points efficiently. Experience with security clearances and coordinating site access (advantageous). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.
