Plan, deliver, coordinate & educate - with vibrance!
Become a key member of a passionate team within a community focused organisation determined to deliver educational experiences to our visitors.
6-month fixed term (parental leave cover) Full-time Sunday - Thursday.
What the job involves Propose, plan, and deliver educational public programmes that relate to collections and current exhibitions that meet agreed levels of service.
Attract and provide tours, visits and other programmes for public groups or organisations.
You'll be involved in the promotion of events and ensuring these are communicated to all of our stakeholders in our community.
You'll be the source of knowledge for our Art Gallery & Museum experience that gets our community talking about the exceptional community facility Whakatere Ashburton has on offer and is willing to share with all visitors near and far.

Who are we looking for?
Are you vibrant and passionate about Aotearoa New Zealand History and Art?
If so, do you have a relevant tertiary qualification, or at least two years' relevant work experience?
If you've answered yes to both of these, then keep reading.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in their organisational skills and can plan, deliver, and coordinate educational public programmes.
With this you'll be confident in your experience in working with diverse groups of people and children.
Strong communication skills are imperative across all age groups along with a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
