In your role as a Financial Crime Programme Manager, you will engage with Enterprise leads to develop program outcomes and benefits and turn these into projects in order to support the successful execution of TSB's Financial Crime strategic programme(s).
Supporting delivery, governance, quality, and reporting while maintaining an outcome and customer focused mindset, will be your responsibility.
In addition to supporting the uplift and standardization of project governance and delivery across the business, the role is accountable for coaching and mentoring project leads and team members in project management techniques and benefits realisation.
Your main responsibilities will be to drive a strong risk culture throughout the bank via proactive partnering and involvement with the business, as well as to give timely insight, oversight, and advise.
When you take on this position, you will have had extensive experience in compliance risk management, which includes handling the risk framework, compliance, analysis, and reporting.
Your knowledge will be crucial for creating and offering advice on financial crime policy, managing and enabling the efficient implementation of bank-wide financial crime risk management, and reporting to management and the board.
You will bring a wealth of experience and proven expertise in developing and implementing a framework for financial crime compliance management, as well as in risk management related to banking regulations, to the position.
You will ensure that the Financial Crime program(s) of work are shaped and led to ensure that the results are delivered within the agreed-upon budget and quality and that they comply with Enterprise and regulatory standards.
Ascertain that the Financial Crime program(s) abide by the processes, roles, and responsibilities, standards, and guidelines for TSB project management (e.g., benefits management, change management, dependency management, resource management, risk management, planning, estimating, progress tracking, documentation, etc.).
To guarantee that governance criteria are met and the quality of project deliverables is improved, give Financial Crime project teams guidance, leadership, and feedback.
Your responsibilities include: Develop and oversee an effective compliance programme that provides coverage over all of TSB's relevant financial crime compliance obligations Provide advice and guidance to "bring compliance to life" across the business.
Work closely with Line 1 business stakeholders, through the provision of advice and assurance, to support their objectives in strengthening their underlying compliance control environment.
Partner with Legal and Regulatory Function to maintain visibility of emerging and evolvinglegislation and regulation.
Identifying, mitigating, and managing Financial Crime compliance obligations including new regulatory change being introduced into TSB Provide advice and strategic direction to the Risk leadership team on compliance.
Manage the uplift and maturity of TSB's compliance programmes, including AML/CFT, Foreign TaxObligations and Anti-Bribery and Corruption.
Ensure change execution is delivered within TSB's framework and processes To succeed in this role, you'll need: Tertiary levelqualification in related field and relevant industry qualifications preferred.
8+ years' experience as a Programme Manager with extensive experience in designing andimplementing Financial Crime Prevention processes and Solutions Proven expertise in risk identification and control development Strong delivery experience both within and adjacent to transformational data and technology projects Demonstrated ability to see the "big picture" and understand the strategic context of projects.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to influence and persuade.
Leadership capability to coach individuals and teams.
Proven decision-making experience and leadership demonstrated in co-ordinating and integrating projects.
