You will lead the team that ensures skilled graduates are well-prepared for employment in these high-demand industries.The Programme Manager contributes to the operational and strategic development and leadership of the School, Directorate, and across Whitireia and WelTec. You will be a member of the School Leadership Team, reporting to the Dean of Te Wananga Maori.This position is based at the Porirua campus but may also include work at our other campuses from time to time as required.Qualifications and ExperienceDemonstrated strength in leadershipDynamic and effective management of teams and individualsDemonstrated expertise in planning, programme design, academic assurance and complianceA Master of Education or other Master's degree that is aligned to education/nursingExperience working in a multicultural environmentAnnual Practising Certificate – Registered NursingExperience working in a tertiary education environmentExperience with education management information systemsDegree of fluency in Te Reo MaoriExemplar of tikangaKey skills/attributes for the role include:Solutions-focusedAble to problem-solve on the goExcellent communication skillsStrength in personal and team development and planningWhat we can offer youWe know it's important to maintain a healthy work/life balance.
