Programme Delivery Lead-Central North Island (SADD) New Zealand Automobile Association – Tauranga, North Island

Do you have experience facilitating programmes to help rangatahi/youth make positive choices in their lives that contribute to better wellbeing outcomes?
SADD is looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual who has a proven track record of engaging with young people from a strengths-based approach. You will have the opportunity to empower young people to make safer choices on our roads.
This is your opportunity to join SADD as a Programme Delivery Lead, working directly with passionate young leaders, secondary schools, youth taking risks on our roads, youth organisations, and community partners.
You will be tasked with delivering the SADD programmes in the Central North Island secondary schools and youth organisations by facilitating new and existing student-led groups, building new relationships, scoping opportunities to deliver the community road safety programme, and maintaining community connections in an effective, impactful, and sustainable way.

Are proactive, persistent, and confident in establishing new connections
The ability to be creative and try new ways to engage rangatahi
Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
An understanding and appreciation for Tikanga Maori
Experience in facilitation and public speaking
Flexibility and availability to travel when required
Full, clean driver's licence and safe driving values is essential
Experience facilitating youth programmes is essential. SADD is looking for someone who can connect quickly and clearly with rangatahi/youth and help steer them in making safer choices. This role will be based in Hamilton or other locations in Central North Island will be considered for the right candidate, working with rangatahi/youth, schools, youth organisations, and community partners across the Central North Island, starting early January 2025.
