Are you looking to gain hands-on experience while supporting the growth of youth, young professionals, and those new to business in Hawke's Bay?  The Hawke's Bay Chamber of Commerce is seeking an enthusiastic Programme Coordinator to join our team. You'll play a key role in creating and delivering programmes focused on business education, coordinating events for young professionals, and supporting those at the start of their business journey. About the role As a Programme Coordinator, you'll be working on various projects aimed at supporting secondary school students, young professionals, and individuals new to business. You will be spearheading the Young Enterprise Scheme, a national programme designed to help secondary students establish and operate a business while fulfilling course requirements. You'll be at the heart of programmes and events that help shape the future business leaders of Hawke's Bay for young professions and new entrepreneurs. The role is dynamic, fast-paced, and involves regular travel across the region, including Napier, Central Hawke's Bay, and Wairoa. About you Driven & Organised: You excel at managing multiple projects and love staying busy in a fast-paced environment.Detail-Oriented & Timely: Your excellent time management skills help you thrive in event management and project coordination.Strong Communicator: You're confident in both public speaking and written communication, with the ability to engage with schools, mentors, and businesses.Passion for Youth: You're passionate about educating young people, helping them find an excitement for business and entrepreneurship.Enthusiasm for Business Development: You enjoy inspiring entrepreneurs to develop and grow their businesses. Key Skills Experience or interest in event coordination and programme managementStrong organisational and time management skillsPublic speaking and communication skillsFull driver's licenseAbility to build external relationships and seek funding opportunities Join us in supporting the next generation of Hawke's Bay business leaders!
