By partnering with local communities, organizations, and governments, we deliver culturally relevant programs and build local capability for sustainable change.ADRA Timor-Leste has been working in Viqueque Municipality since 2011 to implement WASH, agriculture, and livelihood programs.The AssignmentThis assignment is a partnership assignment between VSA and ADRA. A VSA Volunteer will provide support to ADRA to review current systems and assist in making improvements or developing new processes to enhance impact reporting and meet deadlines more effectively. The volunteer will also assist with financial documentation, organizing meetings, and proposal development.The VolunteerAre you someone who wants to make a difference, have a sense of adventure, and like the challenge of being outside your comfort zone? VSA Volunteers are technical experts who impart their skills and knowledge to the local community. You will need to be flexible, adaptable, resourceful, resilient, with a passion for Aotearoa and the wider Pacific community.We're looking for a volunteer with the following:Strong analytical thinkingExcellent written & spoken EnglishExcellent planning, coordination, and communication skillsStrong teamwork and leadership skillsBachelor's degree in development studies or other relevant fieldsDesirableExperience with donor reporting including but not limited to MFAT, DFAT, and EU5-7 years of experience in humanitarian and/or development non-profit organizationsMaster's degree in development studies or other relevant fieldsThe CountryTimor-Leste is one of the world's newest nations with a population of 1,225,000.
