This critical senior role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end operational performance across key customer accounts, with a primary focus on leading core network projects, including 5G Core (5GC), Evolved Packet Core (EPC), IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and Charging systems.Si
What you will do:

Be the Service Delivery Single Point of Accountability:

Act as the primary point of accountability for all service delivery projects within the Market Area (MA) & Digital Services (DS) Customer Unit (CU), ensuring the successful delivery of customer projects.
Engage early in the sales cycle to define the right shoring strategy, promoting service-based delivery over resource-based delivery.
Collaborate with CU teams to implement the appropriate solutioning and delivery models (e.g., pyramid, onshore/offshore mix, asset usage) to achieve target margins with higher efficiency and increased net sales.



Lead Core Network Project Delivery:

Oversee and direct the end-to-end delivery of core network services, ensuring alignment between customer expectations, account goals, and delivery programs.
Ensure that service delivery projects within the DS CU unit are executed without any margin deviation.



Drive Innovation and Operational Excellence:

Champion the adoption of assets, automation, and reuse from pre-sales through delivery to achieve forecasted Unit Margin (UM) with optimal quality.
Ensure the use of standard, integrated processes, methods, and tools across all CU projects, with adherence to governance and delivery metrics.



Business Development and Financial Management:

Support DS CU in driving domain delivery model transformation, leading to profitable projects and high customer satisfaction.
Engage in business planning, focusing on cost management and growth opportunities within DS CU teams.
Monitor and manage portfolio margins and cash flow, providing financial oversight and ensuring alignment with financial targets.



Customer and Stakeholder Management:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders, building confidence and trust through effective communication and consistent delivery performance.
Participate in customer workshops during solution defense and engage in pre-sales support to ensure competitive and efficient digital services deals.



Leadership and Team Development:

Lead a project-driven organization in collaboration with DS CU teams, fostering a one-team approach across service delivery and MA teams.
Mentor and nurture the next line of leadership within your team and domain teams, focusing on people development, career management, and fostering a high-performance environment.



Governance and Reporting:

Be an integral part of DS CU business and projects governance, including Forecast, Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), and the Operational Steering Group.
Provide regular updates to Global Chronos as a FAS/CPAP owner and support financial tracking and reporting.


The skills you bring:

Technical and Functional Expertise:

Extensive experience with Packet Core products, roadmaps, and challenges, with a deep understanding of 2G/3G/4G & 5G Packet Core solutions.
Proven expertise in delivering Telecom projects and solutions, with a strong grasp of Digital Services domains and offerings.
GIAP (PD) Certification preferred.
Experience in digital transformation across competence, technology, business, and financial (P/L) acumen.



Leadership and People Management:

Strong leadership skills, with experience running large organizations and managing complex, matrix environments.
Ability to foster a culture of high performance, trust, and transparency within diverse teams.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop future leaders, focusing on employee satisfaction and minimizing attrition.



Business Acumen and Strategic Thinking:

Strong financial and commercial foresight, with the ability to analyze and act on business opportunities to enhance service delivery.
Courageous leadership with the ability to make prompt, informed decisions, even when facing tough choices or risks.



Other Unique Requirements:

High degree of ownership and accountability, with a strong commitment to top domain delivery performance.
Flexibility to travel at short notice and adaptability to multi-cultural environments.


Educational Background:

Education: BE / BTech / ME / MTech / MCA or equivalent through experience and an engineering degree.
Experience: At least 15+ years of relevant technical experience, with at least 2 years focused on Packet Core deliveries as a Program Director.
