FACULTY OF DENTISTRY The University of Otago is one of New Zealand's largest and most research-intensive universities.

The Faculty of Dentistry comprises of three Departments (Oral Rehabilitation, Oral Diagnostic and Surgical and Oral Sciences) as well as the Sir John Walsh Research Institute.
The role/Te mahi The University is seeking applications from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Professional Practice Fellow in Periodontology.
This position provides an excellent opportunity for a new graduate to launch their career while being well supported by a collegial and dynamic Faculty in one of the leading dental schools in the world.
As a Professional Practice Fellow, you will help support teaching across a range of postgraduate papers and clinical settings in the professional area of Periodontology.
Some key tasks include: Preparation, assessment, teaching and paper administration duties.
Contributing to the Department's academic goals by applying expert clinical knowledge in Periodontology.
Skills and Experience/Ka pukeka me ka wheako The successful applicant will hold a dental degree and must have registration or be eligible for specialist registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand.
The candidate will also have: A practicing certificate in place before starting work.
Evidence and ability to work well with students and staff from differing academic and cultural backgrounds and at all levels of the institution.
Commitment to uphold the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and the University's Maori Strategic Framework.
Further details/Puroko This position is full-time (1.0 FTE), fixed term for 12 months.
The salary range for these positions is $75,231 to $98,857 per annum.
