With a brand new state-of-the-art distillery by Lake Dunstan, Central Otago, they are looking for a talented and ambitious Production & Warehouse Supervisor to join the team.This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with an outstanding culture and great long-term prospects.The RoleThis is a full-time role and will be an integral part of our business.Reporting to the Finance & Operations Director and managing a team of 4 initially, this role will grow and evolve with the business over the coming years.We are looking for someone to take ownership of the production side of the business and help us execute our vision to create a global premium spirits company from New Zealand.The primary focus of this role is to:Provide overall management of the production process ensuring that all quality, efficiency, cost, and lead time objectives are achieved.Constantly strive to improve production performance through process improvement and innovation.Production scheduling with management and production staff.Assist with new product development.Ensure all our extremely high-quality standards are consistently met.Health & safety and compliance.Work closely with our Supply Chain & Logistics Manager and Master Distiller to ensure production timings are in line with forecasts.The role is a permanent position based in Bendigo, Central Otago.The PersonIdeally, you have a few years of experience managing a team in a manufacturing/production environment.
Some FMCG or alcohol industry experience would be hugely advantageous but not mandatory.You will be self-motivated, organized, and enjoy working within a tight-knit team in a highly entrepreneurial environment with the flexibility to grow with the business and become a key long-term member of our family.Strong leadership skills, well organized, and focused on meeting deadlines are a necessity.We are looking for a logical thinker who can work 'outside the square' to resolve issues within this fast-paced environment.If this sounds like you, then please apply below.
