Wellington, Auckland.
In this role, you will produce high-quality timber and metal work within commercial and domestic industries.
Operate machinery safely and efficiently according to operating standards/instructions and in line with health and safety practices and regulations.You will be responsible for completing all work assigned within reasonable timeframes and to a high standard of quality using established standard manufacturing procedures and safe operating procedures.Key Position Criteria:Manufacturing of doors and/or door frames.Loading and/or unloading of vehicles and/or trucks.Experience using hand-held tools such as chisels, saws, or hammers.Experience operating powered hand-held tools such as routers, sanders, or grinders.Experience operating or assisting in the operation of workshop machinery.Quality, Compliance, and OH&SComply with all processes, policies, and procedures.Abide by the standards and values set out by ASSA ABLOY's Code of Conduct.Take reasonable care for their own health and safety, along with the health and safety of their colleagues, within the workplace.Not place at risk the health or safety of any person at the workplace.In addition, the successful candidate must possess:Good written and verbal communication skills.Carpentry experience preferred but not essential.Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.Planning and time management skills.Why ASSA ABLOYNo experience required - full training to be provided.Above industry wage rates.Uniform, tools, and PPE provided.Job stability through permanent employment.Career progression opportunities.Free onsite parking.We are the ASSA ABLOY GroupOur people have made us the global leader in access solutions.
