About the role To provide leadership for the team on shift, by leading and developing the health and safety culture, setting, and achieving production priorities with the emphasis on production efficiencies and contributing to and implementing continuous improvement of shift operations.
What will you do? Provide leadership for the Shift teamLead and develop the health and safety cultureSet and achieve production priorities with an emphasis on production efficiency, throughput, and status reportingContribute to and implement continuous improvement of the shiftEngage with the team on the shop floor and work with them to solve issuesAbout you You would have 8-10 years of experience with good leadership/people management, communication, and decision-making skills in a manufacturing/operational environment. Excellent understanding of health, safety & environmental procedures, financial/accounting principles, and employment legislation is required. Experience with ERP systems and stock management is essential. Technical experience (Plastics/Mechanical/Electrical) is an advantage.
