Your New Role: This role will play a crucial part in enhancing operational efficiency by assisting Production Supervisors with stock control, procurement, and supplier management.
Responsibilities include processing timesheets, preparing reports, and ensuring timely and accurate payments for the National Accounts Department.
By fostering a safety-conscious environment and actively contributing to OH&S objectives, this role supports the overall safety culture of the business.
Duties include but are not limited to: Order materials for all manufacturing facilities and ensure timely delivery.
Capture and manage data for manufacturing reports and assist with the computer-based manufacturing folder.
Collaborate with suppliers to obtain certificates, warranties, and PS3s promptly.
Prepare Bills of Materials (BoM) and generate purchase orders in NAV, ensuring pricing accuracy.
Process timesheets and manage purchase orders and delivery dockets efficiently.
Investigate variances between purchase orders and invoices.
Support safety initiatives and report any incidents, fostering a safe workplace.
Assist Production Supervisors with various tasks and manage general office administration.
Complete any ad hoc tasks as directed by management.
About You: We are looking for candidates with a background in supply chain management or production administration, demonstrating the ability to handle inventory control and procurement processes effectively.
We seek detail-oriented, proactive individuals with strong organizational skills.
Other desired skills and experience include: Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Project.
Self-starter adaptable to changing priorities.
High accuracy in data entry and experience in a systems-based environment.
Understanding of asset management.
Strong negotiation skills with third-party contractors.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
