Bring your strong supervisory experience to ANZCO Foods Waitara, located 15km north of New Plymouth we are located at 1 Stafford Street, Waitara. Reporting to the Site Production Manager, the purpose of this position is to ensure production of products meet the required specifications, quality, and timeframes to enable the business to achieve continued growth and profitability.
We have two positions available. These will both be full-time permanent positions. One on our nightshift (10pm - 6am) and the other on our dayshift (5am - 2.30pm). We are looking for a leader with strong motivation and good people skills to engage and inspire a positive work culture for our team. The salary range for this position will be between $80,000 - $85,000.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
Providing Health and Safety leadership to staff
Meeting targets for production to plan, quality, yields and costs
Daily and weekly yield reporting and ensuring corrective actions for variances
Daily reporting on labour utilisation
Updating the time & attendance system daily, weekly reporting to payroll
Reporting & monitoring repairs & maintenance of equipment
Ensuring compliance with customer, food safety and other regulatory requirements
Scheduling production on a weekly & daily basis to ensure the operational plan is met
Developing and fostering teamwork and a positive culture
Continually identify areas for continuous improvement
Complete monthly operational reports
Ensuring the effective cleaning of production facilities
Skills and Experience we are looking for:
FMCG and Food manufacturing/processing experience
Strong computer skills
A good understanding of food safety and compliance requirements
Minimum 5 Years' experience in a similar position
Understanding of Health & Safety requirements and best practice
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage a team through change
