We are looking for a dedicated Production Operator to join our team and play a key role in the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring quality control measures, and ensuring the efficient and safe production of goods. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a commitment to upholding our company values.
What's on offer? This is an exciting opportunity for capable Supervisors for the day and afternoon shifts. All duties must be performed safely, to the required standard and with consideration to the environment.
The key responsibilities for this position include: Lead and manage a team of experienced operators through coaching and mentoringResponsibility for shift operations during production cyclesInvestigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents Assist in developing standards for each procedure resulting in the standardisation of operations and improved quality for all productsFacilitate the delivery of training Complete plant risk assessments and integrate the safety controls in to the operating procedures to clearly define the expectations and hold people accountable for all the tasks they undertakeContribute to updating of current operating procedures, including using pictures to improve understanding for those where English is a second language.Integrate into procedures the process improvements from the extensive ongoing CI programs.To be successful you will have the following skills and qualifications: Strong leadership capability Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholdersHigh level organisational and planning skills2-3+ years of experience in a Supervisor role Be able to utilise engineering principles in a production environment both to improve plant and operator's performance and capture the learning in sound operating proceduresKnowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principlesBenefits Competitive hourly wage and benefitsOpportunities for advancement and professional developmentSupportive and inclusive work cultureDifferent work schedule optionsRelocation assistance providedHow to Apply If you are a motivated and reliable individual looking to contribute to a dynamic production team, we encourage you to apply.
