Production, Planning & Scheduling (Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics)The Powder Production Specialist is a critical role that supports the delivery of high-quality powdered products while driving efficiency in the powder production plant. The role involves hands-on machine operation, supporting the Shift Manager in implementing lean manufacturing techniques, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities:Operate and monitor Spray Dryers and Evaporators to ensure smooth, efficient production of powdered products.Work closely with the Shift Manager to implement Lean Powder techniques aimed at improving OEE and reducing waste.Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize plant performance.Multi-skill and mentor operators to enhance their proficiency in powder production operations.Ensure adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and environmental compliance.Perform hands-on operation of machinery and troubleshoot issues to maintain production flow.Maintain accurate production records, monitor key performance metrics and ensure timely reporting.Requirements:Education:Relevant workplace experience is essential. A degree in Engineering or Food Technology is preferred.Experience:Experience in Powder Operation, particularly with Spray Dryers and Evaporators, is required. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, familiarity with Quality System Practices, and understanding of Health & Safety protocols.
